Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters are amazingly shaped, as their training regimes cover everything you could want from training. The strength, power, and endurance required by these athletes are incredible, and the result is that they are fine, they feel good, and no one dares to say anything negative because their body is a destructive weapon!

Even if you never plan to walk on an octagon, MMA training can be an incredible way to get back in shape! Many studies have also shown that martial arts training can reduce stress and improve mental stability.

Now, we have a wide variety of gyms around Singapore. Ranging from the East to the West and likewise with the North and South. Our professional trainers each have their own specializations and are skilled in Mixed Martial Arts.


Mixed martial art is a full-contact combat activity that allows you to strike and grapple, standing and on the ground, using techniques from several combat sports and martial arts. Initially promoted as a competition to find the most effective martial arts for real hand-to-hand combat, competitors of different fighting styles competed in contests with relatively few rules. Later, individual fighters used various martial arts in their style.

Benefits Of MMA Training

There are seven primal movements that people perform and, even if you don't know them, you will recognize them as the movements you do at each machine in the gym to strengthen your muscles, improve coordination and increase range of motion! The movements are; pushing, pulling, jumping, bending, squatting, twisting, and walking.

MMA training covers all of these primary movements without you noticing. If your gym session gets a little boring, want to meet new people, or want a fun and effective way to burn fat, this might be perfect for you!
The explosive power of boxing and kickboxing, combined with the endurance required for grappling, make MMA training an excellent option for improving your functional endurance. MMA fighters also have strict conditioning regimes to promote strength and power.

Bodyweight exercises are a great way to improve functional endurance and can help involve the muscle groups that are usually left out during weight training. Strength training is essential for MMA fighters because it improves their endurance and relative strength. Exercises with kettlebells and sandbags are useful for enhancing falls and controlling the opponent. Heavy squats and dead-lifts are ideal for involving all muscle groups, and resistance exercises are essential for successful grappling and submission.
Combining partner skill training, interval exercises, and high-intensity cardio sessions make MMA fighters one of the most influential people on the planet!
Learning and acquiring impressive skills will provide a sense of pride and accomplishment. Many people join martial arts to make sure they can defend themselves effectively in a violent situation. It can also give you higher self-esteem in an "alpha" way.

The improvements you will feel in terms of health, appearance, performance, and brain capacity will also allow you to feel safe and happy with yourself!
The ability to maintain foot balance and control the position of the body on the ground is essential in MMA. Balance and coordination are also the basis of powerful attacks, making the development of these attributes necessary for good combat technique. Skills training will improve that for you, but most fighters use balance exercises and basic stability exercises to ensure that they are already fine-tuned qualities when they train or compete.
Flexibility is an integral part of the martial arts. You have to manage passive flexibility, the more flexible you are, the more submission you can make, and the more your competitor/partner will have to do to submit you. And the more tired you make them, the more likely your chance of winning. Active flexibility is necessary because it combines endurance and control with the flexible movements used in combat, and dynamic flexibility is essential if you want strong and powerful shots.
Knowing the effective techniques to defend yourself will help you calm down. It doesn't mean you have to hurt others just because you know how to hurt someone. These are not mixed martial arts. Most fighters have an incredibly calm temper, sparing intense male gear for competition. If you can improve your general condition and reduce your vulnerability to violent attacks, then it is a winning situation!

The JRMMA Singapore Mixed Martial Arts Program teaches students the basics of various martial arts disciplines. MMA is a thoroughly stimulating but fun contact sport with a combination of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, muay Thai and boxing techniques.
