JRMMA classes teach the basics of MMA and combined techniques. If you are a beginner, you will learn the basics of striking, wrestling, and submission and how to integrate them.

Each class is made up of the following elements:

• MMA fundamentals: strike and clinch, grappling and submission, takedown, and defense

• Combined MMA techniques: striking leading to a takedown, takedown leading to submission, ground, and pound, working off a cage/rope, etc.

• Simulated training: this lesson takes place in a safe environment and will not have a complete striking/sparing. However, live takedown and grappling may occur. Anyone wishing for full sparring can speak to the instructor but must have an experienced partner and protective gear.
